Ms. Elisabeth Belmas, general secretary of the GIS “Jeu et Sociétés”, takes part in a live broadcast on Radio Europe 1 on Monday 6 March 2017 at 10:10 am.

Ms. Belmas is professor of modern history at the University Paris 13, specialist in the history of games, and has published Jouer autrefois. Essai sur le jeu dans la France moderne (Play in days of yore. Essay on the game in modern France). She is also a historian of health and disease.

In January 2017, she is awarded by the University of Salerno the Giuseppe Imbucci Prize 2017 which rewards works on public gaming.
